What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

• Your profile (name, age, bio, photos, relationship preferences)
• All matches and conversations
• Messages you've sent and received
• Forum posts and replies you've authored
• Constellation Map entries you created
• Relationship agreements you authored
• Device tokens used for push notifications
• Approximate location and last-seen data

What we may retain

For legal, security, and fraud-prevention reasons, we keep a small amount of information for a limited time:

• Transaction records related to subscription payments — retained for up to 7 years to comply with tax and accounting laws.
• Moderation and abuse records tied to terms-of-service violations — retained up to 24 months to prevent banned users from rejoining and to support investigations.
• Anonymized, aggregated analytics that cannot be traced back to you — retained indefinitely.
• Backups are purged on a rolling 30-day schedule. Your data may remain in encrypted backups for up to 30 days after account deletion before being overwritten.

Active subscriptions

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. Cancel through Google Play (open the Play Store app, tap your profile icon, then Payments and subscriptions › Subscriptions) before deleting to avoid further charges.
